Members of FBCESD 7 Attend FDIC International in Indianapolis, Indiana

Members of Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 7 (FBCESD 7) attended FDIC International (Fire Department Instructors Conference) in Indianapolis, Indiana from August 2nd through August 7th.

Representing FBCESD 7 at the conference were Assistant Chief Henderson, Captain Delbello, Captain Gill, and Firefighter Pina.

“Attending events such as FDIC is a great way for the firefighters of ESD 7 to improve their lifesaving and firefighting skills while learning new techniques and how to use modern tools and equipment to benefit the citizens of ESD 7,” said Chief Anthony Bates.

FDIC International offers thousands of fire & rescue professionals from around the world, quality world-class instructors, classrooms, workshops, Hands-On Training (H.O.T.) evolutions and the most innovative products and services available to the industry displayed by over 800 exhibiting companies.

FDIC enabled the attendees from FBCESD 7 to learn about the latest in firefighting and rescue equipment, technology, and education. The information learned by the attendees will be shared with other members of FBCESD 7 and will have an exponential impact on the overall safety of the communities served by FBCESD 7.
