NOTICE TO BIDDERS – SALE OF SURPLUS MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS

Sealed bids for the purchase of a surplus motor vehicle will be received by Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 7 (“District”). The proposals will be received until 5:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2021, and proposals will be publicly opened at the District meeting on January 19th 10:00 AM at Quality Life Ministries, 4647 FM 521, Fresno, Texas 77545. The District will take action on the bids at that time. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes.

The envelopes shall be labeled on the outside as follows: Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 7, RE: Surplus motor vehicle parts.

The bids may be delivered or mailed to the office of District legal counsel Coveler & Peeler, PC, attn: John Peeler, 820 Gessner, Suite 1710, Houston, TX 77024. The District reserves the right to reject any and all offers to purchase surplus or salvage property if the Board determines the rejection to be in the best interests of the District.

The surplus motor vehicle parts were removed from a stock pickup truck in order to facilitate the conversion of the truck to a firefighting apparatus. The District will give preference to bids for the entire lot of parts. Bids for individual parts will only be accepted if no qualified bids for the entire lot of parts are received:
