During the changing times of COVID-19, we want the residents of Fresno Fire/Fort Bend County Emergency Service District 7(FBCESD7) to know that the District is doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. Fresno Fire/FBCESD7 is continuing to respond to all calls as normal during this time. You will see below two steps the district is taking to better service our communities.
Fire Station/Apparatus
Currently, Fresno Fire/FBCESD7 is limiting the access to all public/non-emergency personnel and events all our fire station to protect the community and staff. We are also asking if the community and residents would refrain from trying to stop by or drop off anything to our crews either at the station or in the community to protect and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Another step we are taking is that our crews are cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces at both the stations and on the apparatus multiple times each day to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as much as possible
The District is also suspending all public outreach during these changing times. We look forward to the day where we can begin to interact with you both at the station and in the community.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE):
Fresno Fire/FBCESD7 is currently working with different suppliers to ensure the necessary PPE is available when needed in responding to emergency calls. Both Fire and EMS Departments are working together closely when responding to all calls to limit the exposure of potential COVID-19 cases.
Fresno Fire/FBCESD7 is continuing to monitor the situation and keep you informed as much as possible. We are receiving daily updates from our local, county, state and federal agencies. These updates are helping us to make decisions to continually provide the best possible emergency response during COVID-19.
